Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of Resbyu Connect ("resbyu", "we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Who can use resbyu

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity on your account.

2. How referrals work

• You submit a booking for a real guest who has agreed to dine at a partner restaurant.
• A commission becomes available only after verified attendance and admin earnings approval. Confirmed arrivals remain pending during review. No-shows, cancellations and unconfirmed bookings earn nothing.
• Rates are set per restaurant and may differ between high and low seasons. The rate applied is the one in effect for the reservation date, as shown in the app. Rates may change at any time for future bookings.
• Restaurants and resbyu decide arrivals in good faith; their confirmation is final, subject to Section 6.

3. Prohibited conduct

You may not submit fake, duplicate or self-referred bookings, use false guest details, pressure guests, or break any law or your employer's policies. Bookings may be reviewed, including by automated tools, to detect suspicious activity. We may withhold commissions, reverse credits and close accounts for violations.

4. Your employer

You are responsible for ensuring that accepting referral commissions is permitted by your employer and any applicable rules. Where required, you should disclose referral relationships to guests.

5. Wallet and cash outs

• Your available wallet shows admin-approved commissions minus non-rejected cash outs. Pending earnings are shown separately and cannot be withdrawn. It is not a bank account, holds no interest, and is not insured.
• Cash outs require separate admin approval and are sent manually to the payment app you provide (minimum $5). An approved request is not a completed transfer; it is marked paid only after money is sent. Review and processing times vary. We are not responsible for losses from incorrect payout details you provide.
• Third-party payment apps (e.g. Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, PayPal) have their own terms and fees.

6. Disputes and corrections

Contact us within 30 days if you believe a booking was resolved incorrectly. We may correct errors, including credits made by mistake.

7. Taxes

You are an independent referrer, not an employee or agent of resbyu or any restaurant. You are responsible for reporting and paying taxes on your earnings. We may request tax information (such as a Form W-9) and issue tax forms (such as a 1099) where required by law.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee any level of earnings or that the service will be uninterrupted. We are not responsible for the food, service or conduct of restaurants or guests. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the commissions owed to you in the prior 3 months.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. Confirmed, legitimate commissions remain payable after closure.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms and will notify you of material changes. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
